The above picture is of American Legion Post 29 in Marietta, GA.  It was built circa 1948 and the walls were finished with several coats of orange shellac.  These walls were the greasiest, dirtiest walls one might imagine.  We used a solution of Petri Deck Cleaner diluted with 5 parts water and it worked like a charm.  After all the joints were caulked, we applied 2 coats of Muralo's Ultra Ceramic Matte finish.  It only took four total gallons to do the entire building.  All white trim was done with Muralo's Ultra Semi Gloss White.  The coverage of the paint was much greater than anyone anticipated and these old walls looked like Brand New!!  The lighter color made the space seem much larger.  This excellent work was done by Jim Evans of Covenant Paint in Marietta, GA..(678-873-0599)
